They’re solid mid range tires. Have run them on an elantra and they did the job (still currently installed).
Just bought these as I was in the market. I like them. A little more firm of a ride but not terrible. Price was right and I am KUMHO fan and that is who makes these for Discount. In summary if money is an object, good value and I would recommend.
Kumho is a well built tire from Korea.
Nexen is a very reputable mid-range tire manufacturer... In general along the same lines as Cooper, Falken, General, Kumho, and other mid-tier brands quality wise. They have arguably the best warranty in the industry, including a 2 year road hazard warranty from the manufacturer (in the US at least).
If they fit your needs and the price is decent, is take a chance on Nexens.
the Kumho TA51 (assuming TA51a as it is the current production) is a well reviewed and tested very low rolling resistance tire, thanks to a silica-enhanced tread compound. Most reviewers and owners over time generally note a small INCREASE in fuel economy of 1-3 MPG.
You can get the nexen roadian HTX RH5 for $155 each from tires-easy right now. They should perform fairly well and be safe on the road.
Have um right now, not to bad. Quiet good in the rain there just a basic all weather really.
I got about 26,000 miles from the Nexen.
THIS IS MY LAST KUMHO. IM GOING TO BUY A SET OF 4 FROM CONTINENTAL. KUMHO TIRES SUCK.
I got duped by a tire salesman... He sold me 2017 date brand new nexen roadians.
They are wearing in weird ways. Now they have little chunks come out from the side, as if I was going through gravel roads.
