Tires Nexen or Falken

Falkens, better ride and last longer than BFG or Nitto.

I have Walken Wildpeaks A/T 255/55-18 Tires on my 23 MYP. Bought from Tsportline with their overland pkg. Not much range hit and no need to change any speedo.

I’ve been liking my wildpeaks at4s. Haven’t had damage off-roading only puncture I’ve had was a roof nail on the road.

I have the same tires. On smaller aftermarket rims but they’ve been a great tire. I’ll get the same tires again this spring.

One of my stock tires finally decided to kick the bucket, so I replaced them with a set of Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails. So far I like them, they’re the same size as the stock tires, but the handling is superb (especially in rain and on gravel). A little more road noise and a bit of reduction in gas mileage, but I’m cool with it.

I went with Wildpeak AT Trail because highway driving is my priority, with occasional drives on the beach and gentle Forest Service roads. I see a lot of soft-roading in this sub-reddit they can handle.

About 8,000 miles ago, bought a set of their 30,000 mile rated tires. My wife asked me to look at her front tires because they looked "worn out" to which I said "What!" The front tires look like they have gone almost 25,000 worth of wear. She only drives locally and her job is less than a mile away. I've never seen tires wear down so much from so little driving but I guess that's what you get from buying at a Mom and Pop discount place.

I’ll be honest these came in my brand new 2025 Volkswagen Jetta which I purchased last October and I already need a new set. I have put in a wreck of miles though 18k miles already but I still think they wore way too quick they’re at “4 tread and will need to replace.
