I cannot recommend the Cooper Discoverer AT3s enough.

I have a set that has just over 70k on them (will be replacing within a month or so), and I have put them through everything.

I have driven back and forth across the country multiple times and gone rock crawling in Moab and Death Valley (among several other places).

They have always performed well in all weather conditions and have negligible road noise.

Pros: good in all conditions, negligible road noise
Mileage: 70000 km

When we bought our Limited, the dealer put the AT3 sports on it. They did just fine in rain and snow, a few trips from NM to CA and forest service roads in CO. We got about 60k out of them. I have the defenders on the vehicle now and am happy with them as well.

Pros: fine in rain and snow
Mileage: 60000 km

I got theCooper AT3’s for my 2012 4runner and loved them, drove more than 50k (and counting). They give a deep tread and were a game changer (vs Dunlops) especially in any rain or snow. All it took was one sleet/snow to feel the difference. I’ve also driven cross country four times with the Coopers and never noticed any issues with noise or mpg.

Pros: deep tread, game changer
Cons: no issues with noise
Mileage: 50000 km

Nexen tires are massively better in quality and value. I trust Nexen not only with my life, but put them on two of my kids vehicles when they went away to college in the Dakotas (extreme climate variation and brutal winters). Right now we have three vehicles on Nexen tires. In general, Nexen tires are not only worth the money, but they give more value for the price than most tires... They are not the "best" tire out there, but they are a good, quality tire that punches way above their price point.

Pros: good quality, great value
Cons: not the "best" tire

I am a big fan of the EnduraMax tire, it's on my Tucson AWD in North Dakota which gets wild climate swings throughout the year and brutal winter conditions, and has performed very well... I like it better than the Firestones WeatherGrips (had on my pickup, was OK but very noisy, switched to Nexen Roadian AT Pro RA8 and have been very pleased) or the Goodyear Weatherguard which in my opinion is a decent All-weather tire but hardly worth the GoodYear brand premium price.

Pros: performs very well
Cons: Goodyear premium price

Flow One + NEXEN SUR4g. Not the best, but a move up from my shockingly bald street tires.

Pros: move up from tires
Cons: not the best

Starfire tires are a budget brand of tire made by Cooper. They're typically using Cooper's older, less advanced rubber compounds, some of which are absolutely terrifying in wet conditions and tend to be OK to good in the dry. They typically have a short tread life.

Pros: balance out well
Cons: terrifying in wet
