Tires NANKANG or GENERAL TIRE

I have General Altimax Artics. Because they are seasonal they last a long time.

The original tires were getting slippery so put in new General all season the fall of 2024. Now handles top notch.

These are comfortable highway tires that ride SMOOTHLY and quietly. I am selling as I want to begin dune bashing so I upgraded to All-Terrain tires.

I've been happy with General G Max on a few cars and going to continental extreme contact dws 06 plus next set of shoes on whatever car needs them first.

I've had good luck with a set of General tires on my A4. The General tires cost less and perform better in every way so far.

My go to budget tire are the General Altimax RT45s. I’ve had them and Michelin cross climate 2s and Nokian tires. The generals are a great value and wear nicely. They aren’t CC2s but do the job fine as an all around tire and the reviews and tests back that up and they handle snow pretty well.

I've had General GMAX AS 05's, Continental ECS AS and currently running Michelin PS4 AS. I live in NY, in a small apartment no garage, ND is my daily so I run one set of tires.

The General tires is a sub brand of Continental, they were cheaper than the ECS but honestly were great, I had these after the Continentals and I'd get the Generals over the ECS if on a budget.

Nannkang NS20 is the cheapest tire that's good enough you won't think about it

By comparison to the Continental Pure Contacts, the General RT45s:

\u2705 Traction seems about equal

\u274c Do not feel as \"supple\". Slightly harsher when going over rough pavement

\u274c Do not seem to coast as long

\u274c Slightly noisier

I don’t drive my Mini much, sub 100 miles a year. I had Nankangs but they started to split after 18 months. Not sure if lack of movement didn’t help but it was annoying.
