As soon as my stock tires got worn out I purchased the Toyos. They were pretty expensive, but I guess all bigger tires cost $$$. I also had to get them shipped to Oahu. I do notice when I drive that shifting is a little slower, but not sure if it’s related to computer not recognizing the bigger tires size. I guess time to invest in a Tazer or Jscan?
Michelin Defenders. Best tires on the market, have them on my 2500HD for the past 3 years and there is very little wear and I go 90mph
On my second set of toyos had AT2 over 100k now on AT3 as they redesigned tread pattern Priced very good to compared to other brand I was quoted on when looking ie upto $450 a tyre these were $310 265/65/17 Prado 120
Michelin are great tyres and very grippy but wear quickly because they are usually a softer compound than the equivalent in other brands
Bought a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and couldnt be happier. Great tyres.
Just got the Toyo Open Country RT Trails in LT 315 70R 17. Replaced my well worn Toyo AT IIs. They’re on my ‘17 JKU with 4 inch lift. I can tell you I hear no discernible difference from the AT IIs which had very little road noise either. The RTs feel great and look even better. I’ve not had them in the dirt yet but on pavement they’re excellent. I love them.
Have experiences in Michelin, Bridgestone, and Good Year, the best is still michelin
Yes. I lost about 20% with my Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires. It gets a little better after the tires are broken in though
I bought 18 inch and rims with Michelin all seasoned tires. I bought them from Tire Rack as a package already mounted and balanced (so they said). I start driving the car and I’m feeling a lot of vibration from my butt. My thighs are shaking, and the steering wheel is vibrating. All four tires out of all four tires are out of round. So he road force matches them check the numbers and then seems to be all good. At that point, the vibration has gone down, but still noticeable.
