I have been driving for about a month on Michelin Defenders (21"; purchased/installed at Costco) and will never go back to the Pirellis. Quieter for road travel, good handling, minimal difference in range

Pros: quieter, good handling
Cons: minimal range difference

I ran the Michelins for 8 winters here in BC. They are an excellent tire. Good in rain, snow and ice (ice performance degraded after about the third season).

Pros: excellent tire, good in rain
Cons: ice performance degraded

I moved from the continental EV tires to Michelin cross contact and had about a 10% increase in consumption… part due to tires part due to how much better they felt and I pushed more

Pros: better feel
Cons: 10% increase consumption

Joining the rest of folks here to say that it’s worth it to switch to the CC2s. They are superior in every way. Road noise is not an issue in my experience at all.

Pros: superior in every way
Cons: road noise not issue

Not sure why he would suggest an inferior tire. The Cross Climate 2 are an excellent all weather tire

Cons: inferior tire

The GY were ok and did their job but were no where close to being as good as the Comfortread they replaced.

The CC2’s so far are amazing. Great wet and dry traction, smooth and quiet on the highway.

Pros: great wet and dry traction
Cons: GY were ok

Have those on the wife’s 2017 Accord Hybrid. They are great in the rain and snow as you said, but at least on her car they are super noisy. Unsure if we just haven’t rotated them enough maybe?

Pros: great in rain and snow
Cons: super noisy

MICHELIN Tires

I had a noise that was resolved with a tie rod. I had to go to their approved shops! First shop tried to charge 5,000$ for all things I didn’t need, they denied everything but a motor mount. Next shop inflated all prices and labor. Estimate was 2500$ Endurance covered 630$ of a 930$ bill. I had to pay 287$ to get car out of there! Off to Pep Boys for tires they denied that claim as well. They told me basically I don’t take care of my car my tires were bald. I had 4 new Michelin tires in my car. Obviously something was making the front ones “a road hazard”.
