Defender2 hands-down. Michelin reports an honest UTQG. Those tires will last.
Michellines are much better tires in general. I've had great experiences with them vs. Goodyear and Firestone.
Michelins are cheaper to run because overall they last longer both in mileage and cracking. $ per mile much cheaper.
I went with the Michelin Defender 2 on my last set, and now I totally get why they’re so popular. The ride is super quiet and smooth—even on rough pavement—and they’ve been wearing incredibly well. I’m already past 40,000 miles with plenty of tread left, so I believe the 80,000-mile warranty is legit. Wet traction has been solid too, and I feel confident driving in all kinds of weather.
3rd set of Defenders on mine. Such a quiet and great handling all season tire.
I got them today from Costco. I drove like 100 miles after installation, mostly at high speed. These tires are impressive in every aspect, specially comfort and handling
I'm not sure about the noise. I feel they are a bit more noisy of the rough parts of the freeway. More noisy than my older Michelin.
I have not experienced any particular issues with my Toyos (2020 signature), but changed them to CC2s last week after 38,000 miles and a nail. OMG, like having a completely new car -- no cabin noise, float over road bumps, and braking is dramatically better. Can't wait for the snow to fall.
My buddy has the same year Accord, but a V6 Auto with CC2's, an these tires are AMAZINGLY good in the wet an even handling hydroplaning. I drove this car in the aftermath of Helene where there was tons of water an muds. I've since replaced all 4 with them, as having driven a hundred miles or so in my buddies' car, I am convinced.
Am eu CrosClimate2 de 4-5 ani deja. E bine ca nu mai trebuie sa le schimbi, depozitezi etc. Sincer, am fost undeva la munte cand erau noi, si pe o coborare unde era polei s-au dus sanie.
Cross climates. Weatherpeaks wear out too easily. I hate them
