I think so, I have them in my highlander but I get rain and snow quite a bit and they do grip well, I have had them for 35k miles and nad never felt bad. Also they have a great wear life... Not a sign of wear on them yet.

Pros: good grip, great wear life
Mileage: 56327 km

MICHELIN Tires

Glad to hear it. Just ordered a pair for the rear of my Kia Stinger - the factory Michelin Pilot Sport 4S lasted only 15,000miles / 22,000 km. I've had really good luck with Nokian winter tires over the last decade, so hoping these are just as good. I know they won't match the grip of the Pilot Sports, but I'm not tracking the car and the Nokian is only slightly more than half the price of the Michelins, so I'm OK with that.

Pros: good luck with Nokian
Cons: less grip than Michelin
Vehicle: Kia
Mileage: 22000 km

Costco is good. Michelin defender 2 i just got, almost weird how quiet and smooth they are. Best tires for these cars IMO.

Pros: quiet and smooth

MICHELIN Tires

I just bought a new set of Michelin Defender 2s there, after doing a ton of research (I live in a non-snowy area, and prioritize quietness and mpg) The price all-in was better than anywhere else, and the install process was fine.

Pros: price better than anywhere

Get Michelin from Costco. They were very good for my 2008 Sport AWD. They lasted the mileage that was promised and never had any issues on snow.

Pros: lasted the mileage promised, good on snow

I also have the Defender 2 though I didn't quite make as deliberate a choice. I jumped a curve in a parking lot and did sidewall damage (some metal bit on a storm drain) to my stock tires, and I had the car towed to Discount Tire and the Defender 2 was the only good option in stock at the time.

MICHELIN Tires

Had the same ones on a Crosstrek. They take the cake as my worst tires. Period. They handled worse in snow than my now Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires, which is NOT a high bar. And only lasted 40k miles before the tread was done.

Cons: handled worse in snow
Vehicle: Subaru
Mileage: 40000 km
