Tires MICHELIN or Sava

MICHELIN Tires

Im a MI driver and these tires have been a game changer for me driving through snow. I bought these around October last year and they were such a boon during this winter relative to my previous all season tires.

Pros: game changer driving snow

3 vehicles with 3 sets of Michelin CC2s (mine, wife, daughter).

Best tires I’ve ever rode one.

Smooth, traction, no road noise, great wet traction, and overall grip.

Pros: smooth, great wet traction
Cons: no road noise

I’m in Cincinnati, we have all climates here, I put them on my Avalon. I noticed a few things, gas mileage dropped 4 mpg, they plowed thru rain puddles with no hydroplaning, no problem with snow, wear is good. No slipping other than pulling away from wet stop lines painted on the roadway. Love them.

Pros: no hydroplaning, good wear
Cons: gas mileage dropped
Vehicle: Toyota Avalon

Alright Michelin all season sport 4 is great for all weather driving. I put 151k miles on my S8 and put new Michelins on it every 35k miles (so like 2200 in tires every 18 months lol) they were 265 21” tires. Worth every penny did well in rain too

Pros: great for all weather, did well in rain
Vehicle: Audi S8
Mileage: 151000 km

Those Michelin’s are excellent in pretty much every climate. I live in the desert and the direct grooves allow the tire to stay cool and they perform great in wet weather. Worth every penny.

Pros: excellent performance, great in wet

I'm on my second set. I drive a 2011 Outback and live i. The Chicagoland area. I've noticed that wet and dry driving is great. No noise. But in the snow, while turning, the car likes to plow. I'm not a fan of them in the wintertime.

Pros: wet and dry driving great
Cons: car likes to plow

MICHELIN Tires

Had the same ones on a Crosstrek. They take the cake as my worst tires. Period. They handled worse in snow than my now Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires, which is NOT a high bar. And only lasted 40k miles before the tread was done.

Cons: handled worse in snow
Vehicle: Subaru
Mileage: 40000 km
