Tires MICHELIN or Pirelli

I initially went with Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail ATs but they were way too rough and loud despite the reviews saying they were the contrary. I swapped them out for Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 all seasons and it is night and day better.

All Michelin tires are quieter than most brands since they are softer. Even winters.

I do 25,000 a year and for 7 years I have only used all season tires, for the climate we have I think they are perfect!

I finally went and swapped them out for Michelin Defender 2s and it made a huge difference. The road noise is greatly reduced and has a lot less bass in it. The noise from the car moving through the air is now the louder thing, whereas I couldn’t even hear that before. Driving on the same roads as before my watch shows I’m at about 62db which seems like a pretty big improvement. I also feel that the ride has been improved over smaller bumps.

He got rid of the summers and replaced with some high-quality performance all-seasons (Pirelli PZero a/s3). The way the winter climate is going on the East coast, the logic for doing that (instead of proper summers and winters) is becoming a lot more compelling. So, nothing suspicious about that.

Got them on my 21 Onyx. They’re great in the rain and surprisingly good in the snow. Quiet even at 80+.

I am a evangelist for the Cross Climate 2s. Have had on my Outback for 1 year. Performance in Snow is awesome as expected, but did not expect such a massive improvement overall in handling, breaking distance, and traction in rainy conditions. And the first time I drove on a dirt road, it felt like a Rally car. 55mph on dirt feels as grounded as pavement. Also, have spots on my regular route that get pooling on the road during decent rain, and it simply will not hydroplane at 60mph.

I got Cross Climates on my wife’s Outback last year and they are amazing! Road noise went to zero and they handle perfectly!

Replacing mine tomorrow with Pirelli scorpion Weatheractives. Tires are fine but I need a more versatile tire for winter and I'm hoping they will help with the road noise too.

I'm new to this having zero experience with them before 2023 when I bought a new car that game on p7 all season run flats. These are the scariest tires I've driven on in my life. I swapped mine out immediately for some continental dws 206 after one night driving home in some rain, having to go 40 mph in the right lane with my hazard lights on because at 45 I would hydroplane and have no control. How they legally got away marking those as all season is beyond me.
