I picked up a set of 18 x 8 ET 35 mm Radius W115 wheels in Titanium Gunmetal with 245 60 18 Michelin Cross Climate 2 All Weather tires. Winters are mild in the area so I decided to give these a try.

Pros: mild winters

I really like the Michelin Wild AM 2 and Force AM 2 because they roll so much faster than Maxxis but still have great grip.

Pros: great grip
Cons: roll so faster

I had good luck with Falkens, and liked them - but for Teslas, I’ve gone back to Michelins. The OEM Goodyears were trash. Got almost 60K out of my first set of Michelins (RWD). Should be about the same for the second set (AWD).

Pros: good luck, liked them
Cons: OEM Goodyears were trash
Mileage: 60000 km

Have experience with Kumho vs Michelin pilots 4s.

Similar price (ish). Kumho are rubbish. Completely changed the handling of the car for the better when I went on the pilots.

You wont get mileage though.

Pros: changed handling for better
Cons: won't get mileage

I put the CrossClimate2's on my 2015 Jetta TDI. 4% loss in fuel economy. Not only that but the car lost it's precise on center feel and required much more correction to keep in straight. Feels like driving on underinflated snow tires. I hate them and will replace them with the OEM Bridgestone Ecopias.

Cons: loss in fuel economy, lost precise feel
