For all seasons, get Michelin pilot a/s 3+. Way better than the Conti extremecontacts I had before. Probably not quite as good in the snow but who cares. So smooth, relatively quiet, and great grip for an all season.

Pros: smooth, relatively quiet
Cons: not great in snow

MICHELIN Tires

Michelins, Contis and Bridgestones are all top end tires its hard to go wrong with for most buyers in my experience, but you're paying for that value.

Pros: top end tires

I had just come from the old Good year Eagle F1 GSD3's which were fantastic if a little soft on the sidewalls. The General's gave me decent tread life and grip. They weren't nearly as good in the wet as the F1's but I'm not sure my current PSS's are even as good as those F1's were; they were simply magic in the wet. My biggest complaint was the noise, just a very loud tire. I've had falken 512's and hated them. I knew how good the PSS's were but they were going to run about $1100 for the set. I ended up spending the extra because of the mileage guarantee. They guarantee 30k miles, which I have never seen out of a set of tires, and pro-rate replacements for any mileage under 30k. On my E46 that equated to me getting BOGO PSS's. The money upfront more than paid for itself in the long run; plus there are no tires on the market that do everything the PSS does as well as the PSS does.

Pros: fantastic wet grip, mileage guarantee
Cons: soft sidewalls, very loud
Vehicle: BMW

Got some Michelin MXV4 for a really good price last year and they really helped with the absolute worst winter storm we've had here in portland in almost 2 decades. Did well in light snow, and extremely well in rain, plus they're incredibly quiet on the roads.

Pros: well in light snow
Cons: worst winter storm

I just put PS4's on to replace my stock Continentals and I love them. I've gone towards a few other brand choices with some previous cars and always hated myself for not getting Michelins. The PS4's are so quiet I can actually hear my brake pads now and I couldn't before due to the rolling road noise from the Continentals.

Pros: very quiet

I have about 2k miles on some PS4s. Most of that is windy backroads. There is no comparison with the stock Contis. These things grip with no drama, ride smoother and quieter. They grip so well, that the body of the car leans on turns when it felt flat on the Contis.

Pros: grip with no drama, ride smoother
Mileage: 3218 km

Nexen Tires

I have the N5000's on my Classix for my Summer wheels, They are OK, Feel better than the stock Contis on the steelies I use in the winter But not the best in the Wet, If its rainning, I can easily get them to spin.... When they wear, I probably won't buy them again . . . J

Pros: better than stock Contis
Cons: not best in wet, easily spin
Part number: N5000
