I'm not a tire snob, but I will add these to points on my current experience with the A/S 3: Great balance between handling and comfort IMO At about 21k miles of use, mine are well worn- I will likely replace these at only 25k or so. I'm curious if others have had similar experience.

Pros: great balance, handling and comfort
Cons: worn at 21k miles
Mileage: 21000 km

MICHELIN Tires

Never had the Dunlops, but I had the AS/3 on my old Avant. They were fantastic. Not a peep of tire noise and hardly any howl in corners compared to the OE Pirelli P6.

Pros: fantastic, no tire noise
Cons: howl in corners
Vehicle: Audi

The Michelin xice3 however are an absolute joy to drive on dry/wet and will handle snow/ice very well. They pretty much ride like a quality all-season. As an all-around tire the Michelin is much, much better.

Pros: joy to drive, handles snow/ice

18x8 Neuspeed RSe52 with Michelin AS3's in 235/40 ZR18 on stock suspension. I'm debating VWR springs, but don't want to ruin the DCC.

MICHELIN Tires

I have the Michelin Premiers and they're a great tire. I have 70+ k miles on mine with 5mm tread left. They're excellent in rain (even now) and snow.

Pros: great tire, excellent in rain
Mileage: 70000 km

Energysavers arent so good on wet surfaces, but on normal driving I did not have any problems conserning traction. I had them at rear for 2 years. They last very long.

Pros: long lasting, normal traction
Cons: bad on wet surfaces
