Michelin XM2+ Based on my 6 years of using it, I only got a puncture once, and it was on just one tire. IMO, Michelin CrossClimate 2s are the way to go

I also have the Defender 2 though I didn't quite make as deliberate a choice. I jumped a curve in a parking lot and did sidewall damage (some metal bit on a storm drain) to my stock tires, and I had the car towed to Discount Tire and the Defender 2 was the only good option in stock at the time.

I have this issue with Michelin Defender tires. Brand new set. Rebalanced 4 times at 3 different shops and an alignment and just feel so unsteady on them. Also feel like I notice every imperfection in the road.
