Tires MICHELIN or Kumho

MICHELIN Tires

Michelin pilot sport 4s, best tire by far. So far gone about 20-30k on them in the same car that ripped apart the goodyears.

Pros: best tire by far
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 25000 km

I went the opposite. They both handle about the same. I only got about 18k out of the mpss. I'm at 10 on the continentals, and they still look brand new.

Pros: handle about the same
Cons: low mileage
Mileage: 18000 km

Bought my wife's car with a set of new Michelins on it, which are arguably top tier tires.

They lasted 60,000 miles. Quiet riding, predictable handling, wore evenly.

I put a set of Mastercraft tires on it as replacement. 1/3 the cost and they were not the "cheapest" by far.

They were definitely noisier and harder riding. They lasted about 25,000 miles.

Pros: long lasting, quiet riding, predictable handling, wore evenly (Michelin); good value (Mastercraft)
Cons: noisier, harder riding, shorter lifespan (Mastercraft)
Mileage: 96560 km

I had my PS AS4 on during first snow of the season and the braking distance was noticeably worse than my Blizzaks. They should be fine for 2-3 light snow days being M+S rated. Fantastic in summer and leagues above Alenza RFT in terms of both dry and wet grip.

Pros: fantastic summer grip
Cons: worse braking distance

I have the Crossclimates on my CX5, when they wear down, they start getting louder. I'm probably at 40-50% life left and they are pretty loud on dry pavement.

Pros: good when new
Cons: louder when worn
Vehicle: Mazda
