Tires MICHELIN or Kormoran

MICHELIN Tires

I got 103k miles on a set on my 2013 5.0 F150. Still have them in the garage because there’s still tread left. I put new defenders on a couple winters ago. Highly recommended.

Pros: 103k miles, tread left
Vehicle: Ford
Mileage: 165762 km

On my 2nd set on my f150, Dads been running them for years. Had 2 sets on 2 different of my Wife’s vehicles. We get a lot of snow and rain here in West Michigan and they do amazing in all conditions, there’s not a better tire out there.

Pros: amazing in all conditions

MICHELIN Tires

I put the last gen AS3+ on my Chevy bolt that I had for a bit and it made that b a close approximation to a hot hatch, well worth the range hit

Pros: close to a hot hatch
Cons: range hit

MICHELIN Tires

I have the Michelin Pilot sport 5 on my hatchback and I can say that these have incredibly good grip as well! One particular on ramp near where I live can be driven at around 70km/h with regular economy tires, I can do 110 without any understeer

Pros: incredibly good grip
Cons: no understeer
Vehicle: Volvo C30

MICHELIN Tires

Just have these on for ~2 months

Handling in dry is still pretty good, not as sharp as the stock one for sure, but good enough for me

Heard that they are good inthe wet. I went through couple rainy days and felt like it's quite easy to get hydroplane.

Car didn't lose control, but I have never realised those water puddles in the past with other tires

Not sure whether it's a good thing or not

Pros: good handling in dry
Cons: easy to get hydroplane

Rating 1.0

The best I've had are the Dunlop Direzza Star Specs (I and II) for summer. For winter ofcourse the Bridgestone Blizzak WS90s for the Michigan winters. I've had a set of Kumho Ecsta MX's and they weren't bad either, but the worst by far were the MICHELIN PRIMACY all-seasons. Noisy, tread lasted less than 20k miles and obviously it's unsafe to wait until 2/32" so not even replaceable under warranty (which claims 80k miles treadwear ....pfft). Never again.

Pros: best for summer
Cons: noisy, tread lasted less
Mileage: 20000 km
