Going on 3 years on my cross climate 2's with zero conplaints
Upgraded my Wilderness to Michelin Defenders. MPGs went up on average about 4mpg. Much quieter, smoother ride. I regret not swapping them out sooner!
Just grabbed Defender 2s. As of now, zero complaints.
I have the Michelin X-Ice Snow and they’re doing well sofar.
These tires are less compliant than other tires I’ve used. The ride is firm. I have noticed lower fuel economy. Overall, I’m happy with these tires.
I've had the ventus on my wife's Tiguan and they suck. If you're sticking with all season go with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4, they really are much better in nearly every way imaginable.
Just got the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and love them.
I use Pilot Sport A/S 4s and they can handle any normal (i.e. non-blizzard) amount of snow with relative ease. They were great in the Midwest last winter, including in the snow.
They are what I expect for OEM/stock light duty truck tires, fine on the road and light off-road duty into a farm field or pasture. They don't slip anywhere near as much as the Michelin aftermarket tires I ran on my F150 on wet pavement/gravel and seem pretty reasonable on the road noise so far.
I was in a prius with michelin defenders on rt90 in MA during a rainstorm at 65 with cruise control when the front wheels just spun out, lost traction
