At 70K miles I went with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S4 tires. That was about 7,000 miles ago and they are by far the best tires I have had on this car.
Kelly Safari A/T. Made by Goodyear. I got load range E for rock climbing but also comes in C. 3peaks snow rated. My second set. My used FJ came with a set on it. Rides great on the highway too.
I like Goodyear Assurance. But I'm only one person! I do avoid Kumho tires - I hated them on my car.
The sportiest all-weather tires are probably the Michelin CrossClimate 2, Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2, and Pirelli WeatherActive.
Pilot Sport AS4
Pilot sport all season 4
had mrf, changed to michelin, big difference and worth the price. (TB 350). also have installed apollo in my scooty, no complains so far, can give it a try in future.
I haven’t driven on the Rivian Goodyears, but my experience has been that all terrain style tires like that struggle on hard packed snow and ice (they just aren’t soft enough in the cold).
I purchased Michelins and within a year one developed a bulge in the tire sidewall. This bulge was not discovered until I had my tires rotated. It was on the inside of the tire and probably was there all along. They had a 50,000 mile warranty but the seller/installer Midas said the sidewall was not covered under the warranty! Read the warranties!
I had to explain to an Iranian last night what a heat ring is on his Michelin that was on his 6 yr 20k mile RX that he bought last year from...gulp, CARMAX
