These are great tires. Now michelin milking it on the price though. They are almost twice the price of average tires. But not twice as good.
I'd already been impressed by how noticeably smoother these tires were and how they just felt invisible for the past few weeks. I drove them through two downpours and they were amazing. Hydroplanes I expected to happen just, didn't. I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they are in this nonsense. They just gripped, no slip, no drama.
i have a 2023 jetta with michellin x ice and she’s a tankkkk
The CC2 is a solid choice if you get snow and want something that works year round. I don’t think you will notice a difference in ride quality between SL and XL. Note the CC2 can have a bit of road noise
Slap on some Michelin ice and you'll be plowing through / leaving everyone in the dust.
I’ve got a ‘19 SE that I put Michelin cross climate 2’s on. That combined with driving in low gear on snow-covered roads has done well for me so far.
Michellin. X and my 2015 Jetta I have 0 issues driving in snow ice condition. The feedback from the car give me the feeling of the road and makes me anticipate my Next Movement
Ended up buying new Michelin 21s and got stuck in wet grass a week later. Bought used 20” wheels and tires, Toyo open country ev3s and never looked back.
The tread pattern on the cross climate tires is noisy and you might notice a drop in mileage (-10mpg has been reported).
They're not good in the dry and wet in my experiance. I came from Pilot Sport AS4 and when pushing my car on highway entrance ramps the CC2 always will trigger traction control whereas the AS4 never did.
