Tires MICHELIN or Falken

MICHELIN Tires

This is what I had Michelin Primacy Tour A/S. Warranty is 55K, mine made it to 67k before I just changed them to the Michelin Pilots.

Pros: made it to 67k
Mileage: 67000 km

Falken Tires

I had those Falkens, and I miss them; I have Firestone now, and they are ok. I a lot quieter than the Falken, but either way the Falkens are best.

Pros: Falkens are best
Cons: Firestone are ok

Some of the best tires for the price honestly, love them on my wife’s 2020 1500 and on my 2020 F350 Platinum. Been towing 16K lbs almost daily with them tires and they wear very good! Highly recommended

Pros: wear very good

Falken Tires

I've been running Falken Wildpeak A/T3W all\_ Terrain since I ripped off the crappy OEM tires. Mounted on a 2017 1500 Laramie /w 105k. No issues. Excellent in rain, mud, and highway. They are snow peak rated, but in Florida no snow.

Pros: excellent in rain, mud
Mileage: 105000 km

I’m currently running them on my 18 big horn and love them so far. I can’t say anything about snow cause I’m in Texas but they do amazing on the highway, rain and the little bit of mud I’ve been in they did pretty good. I did have balancing issues and one was out of round and had to replace that one but now it ride amazing even at 110 mph.

Pros: amazing on highway, rain
Cons: balancing issues, out of round

Love my Falken Wildpeak A/T 10ply (had Falken before they were a big name). They have been really good tires, and i keep them rotated every 6k-7k miles. Even wear and still look really good. When these need replaced, i will go with Falken again for sure. They are good for offraod as well, have been in mud that was halfway up the tires, and no issues at all. Plus, they are good on the highway with no road noise (at least mine have no road noise as of yet). They do get stiff in the cold, but thats because they are 10ply. They are good in the snow, and ice is ice.

Pros: good on highway, no noise
Cons: stiff in the cold
Mileage: 7000 km

I do some spirited driving here and there and in general appreciate grip at higher speeds, so the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 is my tyre of choice

Pros: good grip, higher speeds

Have Michelins on it now and it rides great, and the idle has always been slightly rough since new. I have the basic engine and still uses no oil.

Pros: rides great
Cons: idle slightly rough
Vehicle: Kia
Mileage: 96000 km

Switching this week from Kumho Ecsta PS91 on 20" Induction wheels to Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 on 18" RTX Spider wheels. Will search for a phone app to plot accelerometer output and do a tit-for-tat comparison on a couple of bad local roads.

Falken Tires

On a totally non-Mazda related note I put Falken Wildpeak AT Trails on my Jeep just over a year and half ago. All four of them already have weather cracking. And Falken doesn’t have a specific warranty for that, you simply have to claim the warranty under their general six year manufacturing defects and materials and hope they give you some help. They start at 11/32, rated for 65,000 miles and after 20,000 miles they are already down to 6.5/32

Cons: weather cracking, wearing quickly
Vehicle: Jeep
Mileage: 20000 km
