My used CX-30 came with Kumho Crugen HP71 that are really great for road noise and all weather. The single snow storm we had so far it handled very well!

Pros: great for road noise

Falken Azenis RT660 or Kumho Ecsta V730. RT660 might be a smidgen faster, but the V730 is more durable and will last for more runs.

Pros: more durable
Cons: smidgen faster

I've never had a more tenderfoot set of rubber on any car and was really glad to have worn them out. Replaced with Kumho tires which ride like a noticeable harder compound/tire and have had no punctures since.

Pros: harder compound, no punctures
Cons: tenderfoot set of rubber

Kumho Tires

I have the 19” khumo creugan and I had 14k miles when I swapped to winters in November, now I have another 2k on them this spring, and I we am a couple 32nds from the ware bars in the tread. So prabably on track for 20k and they will be gone.

Cons: worn close to bars
Vehicle: Kia
Mileage: 16000 km

Nothing wrong with the Kumho tires but those are Z rated and ultra high performance tires. They won’t last long and will ride like an ox cart. But they will grip very well.

Pros: grip very well
Cons: won’t last long
Mileage: 32186 km

The V730s are in the bottom of their class in rain performance in Tire Rack's testing and I tend to agree with their ranking.

Cons: bad rain performance
Vehicle: BMW
