Kumho AT51 have been really good. Really quiet, great in winter, but feels like you driving on ice at high speeds (80mph) which is expected from these tires.

Pros: really quiet, great in winter
Cons: driving on ice at high speeds

Go with the Khumo. They’re a reputable brand. I’ve heard of some people having issues with the warranty. My personal first hand; they were a great performing tire. I rode mine hard though. So they only lasted about a year and half. It was the MT.

Pros: great performing tire
Cons: short lifespan

Kumho Tires

Kumho is a well known brand compared to the rest. I'd do kumho solus before any of them.

Pros: well known brand

I drove about 8k miles on a set of RS-Rs. They ride fairly stiff and produce a hum. Wet traction actually not bad at all. Dry performance was obviously exemplary.

Pros: dry performance exemplary
Cons: ride fairly stiff
Mileage: 12875 km

Kumho Tires

Since last time you saw it I upgraded the brakes to 312mm rotors with ATE 57 calipers in front and 256mm disk brakes in the rear and replaced the heavy Mercedes replica 18" wheels with BBS RK's in 8J 17 wrapped in sticky kumho KU-36 rubber.

Pros: sticky Kumho rubber
Cons: heavy Mercedes replica
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I have those Kumhos and I am not a fan. They are quiet, but not nearly as sharp as the RE050s they replaced, but the car moved from Texas to Ohio and I had to have all-seasons. I have 50,000 on one pair and 20,000 on the other (blew out 2 sidewalls in winter potholes) and I am going to use them through the summer and then put something else on for next winter (even though there's still a lot of tread there), probably Continental DWS. They are inexpensive, last forever (if you stay out of potholes) but feel awfully soft on turnin. Not really bad, just not my thing.

Pros: quiet, last forever
Cons: soft on turnin
Mileage: 50000 km
