I got a set of Kuhmos at America's Tire. Ordered online, drove to the store to have them installed. Same tire they use for the newer ID.4s. Not too expensive, and way better than the original Alenzas my '21 had.
I’ve had 3-4 sets of kumhos on various vehicles & a trailer, great tires great prices
I had good experience with Kumho as affordable tyre option
Good grip in dry & wet, mud + snow rated, quiet, have had them on for the past 3 years. I live in Ontario, these are excellent in the snow.
Buy Kuhmo AT51 road venture. You won't regret it. Even in deep snow.
I live in mountains with lots of snow. No problem whatsoever.
Oh and the tires are very quiet.
Good budget tyre if you have sportier car.
RS-RR's are good for wear also but way longer to overheat when pushed. They squeal and moan like crazy though and finding the limit of grip is very hard.
I'm running on Kumhos, so I can't say much about others. Kumho (KM17) is OK, but it generates a flat spot in few weeks if car just sits and then first 10 miles are bumpy. Quite cheap so perhaps I can stand that, but not really much cheaper than others, so I won't buy another set.
I have a US spec 2022 Wind AWD with 23,000 miles on these Kumho tires. In my less than 9 months of ownership I've had two tires patched from slow leaks and I just had to have the foam lining removed from a tire since it separated from the inner tire wall and created massive vibrations in the steering wheel.
I would pass. I had these on my Z3. They were great at first, but got stiff really quick.
