I had mt2 285/75/16 on my hilux surf, I now have Yokohama geolanders. I would say the kendas are a bit softer compound and quieter, but the geolanders are a bit better in the mud. The kendas were awesome tyres off and on road though.

Pros: softer compound, quieter
Cons: less grip in mud

I have the Kenda klever r/it's on my 2025 Tacoma TRD. I put 5,000 miles on them on the highway as well as in the desert in the sand mountains and snow. These are some of the best tires I've ever had, and certainly their price was very reasonable as well.

Pros: best tires, reasonable price
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 8000 km

I decided to give the Kenda K270s a shot and first impression was that they're not great on street, braking is much worse compared to the shinkos and I got a bit of wobble/instability over 65mph. Finally got to try them on dirt and WOW. They are incredible on the trail. Very confidence inspiring compared to the shinkos.

Pros: incredible on the trail
Cons: worse braking, instability

I am using the Kenda Wintergen 2 on a Mazda CX3 and it's good. Way more silent than the original Toyo R52 summer tires. And it's okay in the wet too. I'm driving it the 4th year now and they are definitely not worse than the Toyos in the wet.

Pros: more silent than Toyo
Vehicle: Mazda

If you're okay losing by a big margin but are focused on self-improvement, try running Kenda Vezda KR20a's (make sure it's the 200tw version). They are dirt cheap and stupid durable.

Pros: dirt cheap, durable
Cons: losing by big margin

I would add the kenda vezda kr20a 200utqg to the ok tier. I gave them a shot because they were nearly half the price of the Bridgestone in the same size and I needed a new set due to finished rt660s and didn't quite have the funding for Bridgestones at the time.

They are comparable to the rt615 and others you have in the ok tier however they have fantastic wet weather traction. And they talk to you at the limit

Pros: fantastic wet weather traction

KENDA Tires

I've had them on my Tacoma for about 20-25k miles and they've gotten really bad on wet pavement lately. 90% of my driving is on pavement and these things are becoming a liability after it rains.

Cons: bad on wet pavement
Mileage: 22500 km
