Tires KENDA or Maxxis

Maxxis Tires

The 3CT (MaxxTerra?) is a much more suitable rear tyre compound and it's already on the softer side, I can't imagine ever running a Maxxgrip rear tyre outside of pro racing as it's slow rolling and wears out incredibly fast.

Pros: suitable rear tyre compound
Cons: slow rolling, wears fast

Last night I had 35x12.7x17 Kenda Klever RTs installed on Bronco Sasquatch wheels. This truck looks perfect now. I do get a slight bit of rubbing at full lock so I will be trimming the front intrusion bar mounts.

Pros: looks perfect
Cons: slight rubbing at full lock
Vehicle: Ford Bronco

KENDA Tires

If you're okay losing by a big margin but are focused on self-improvement, try running Kenda Vezda KR20a's (make sure it's the 200tw version). They are dirt cheap and stupid durable.

Pros: dirt cheap, durable
Cons: losing by big margin

Maxxis Tires

I run 29x2.4 Ikon/Aspen on hardpack and it serves me well. The Aspen at first was more nervous over roots but I think I was running too high a pressure and it’s much better. The Ikon is just my jack of all trades XC tire; not good or bad at anything.

Pros: jack of all trades
Cons: nervous over roots

KENDA Tires

761’s were the tire that came on my NX650 when I got it…I don’t think I’ve used a more “meh” tire. The front cupped badly, sketchy in the rain and really, really sketchy off-road. They did last forever though!

Pros: lasted forever
Cons: sketchy in rain, cupped badly
Vehicle: Honda
