The best tire I have found for this setup is the Kenda K161 Knobby Cross 27x1-3/8 Gum Wall Tire. I have a set on a city bike of similar vintage and geometry and they're really quite good.
I would recommend swapping the tires out and setting it up tubeless when you get around to it. It came with Torreno dry 38s and I put on Kenda Crusher 45/40s and it is much faster and capable on dirt and road.
Kenda Nevegal and Kenda Kobra are the two tires I know of that are full all-terrain tires in the 24” wheelchair wheel size.
Some light tires like the Kenda Small Block 8. A small knobby tire that works great on the street.
Kenda K-RAD are super grippy!
Perfect all around tires for this kind of bike.
I only ever bought Kandas to do drift days on my previous cars. I didn’t think people dailied them
my cheapo Kenda Klever ATs have been great in the snow, okay in bad mud, and great on loose dirt. Killer is they’re loud as hell, but shit they were only $140/tire. Been running them for 30k+ miles without issue
Absolutely not. Radster trail. Can't get replacement tires anywhere. Particularly the original Kenda Havok Tires that came with it.
I had a set of kenda tires. They look aggressive but are the most slippery tire on the road. I wouldn't buy them again.
I must say that they are fine in dry weather, but in the wet… Absolutely dangerous! They have no gripe at all.
