Tires Hankook or OEM Volkswagen

Mi se par foarte bune pentru prețul lor.

Been enjoying them. Got about 400 miles on the set. Yes. 21” size. Getting about 1.8kwh - all city, errands. No real highway. I have a heavy foot and use all the quad motors. So, you will prolly get better efficiency.

Am Hankook și nu am avut nici o problema nici pe gheata, la zăpadă nu mai zic. Anul trecut, in cele 2 zile cu zăpadă din București, nu cauciucurile au fost problema, ci faptul că mașina era prea joasa și mergeam mai mult "pe burta". Chiar și așa, am trecut peste niste grămezi de zăpadă ce erau mai sus decât bara fata, așa că dpdv aderenta, recomand cu toată încrederea!

Bought my 2019 with 17 miles on it. 6 speed, no sunroof.

Have close to 48k on it now, I’ve replaced the tires and the battery. Done my yearly maintenance, and I just had the 50k service done on it. No issues to report. Been extremely reliable, I only drive it 6-8k a year.

Középkategóriában a Hankook nem rossz, évek óta, több autón is azt használom,elégedett vagyok vele.

I got Hankook Tire Ion Evo AS just about 3 months ago. One thing I immediately noticed is the louder "Tire noise" but not by a lot. Totally tolerable. I just felt good that I got a good Tire for my car.

Now, 7 months in, I had a nail in my tire and I took it to Hankook tire and they fixed it for $20 or something. A day after fixing the tire, it is still loosing psi by about 12psi.

I contacted the Tire shop and got the following response: see image.

Is it normal that where I got the nail in is close to the unrepairable spot on the tire? With Michelin, i had it even closer to the edge and it was totally repairable and losted the full lifetime.

The tire shop showed me the repair by removing the tire and I can see that the repair was done very professionally. However, the angle of the nail was bad that I have to get a new tire.

Man... I'll say Michellin is quieter but wears out faster. Next time I would just get whatever is cheaper.

I have the Hankook Winter i*cept Evo³ (non-X) and on ice, they don't do great. Dry, snow and wet is great though.

Hankook VP4 i had on my IX35 but the rears were deformed after 40-50.000kms, kinda my fault for not rotating the wheels, but i didnt rotate the turanza 5 that i had before them and they held up for 60.000 kms without deforming.

I’ll never buy another set of hankook as long as I live. I bought some for my Mercedes when I had that, they wore out in 5000 miles, then they fought me on the tread wear warranty to the point that I just put on a different set of tires and moved on with my life.
