I bought a pair of Hankook Icept iZ3, which were pretty well reviewed but a bit cheaper than Blizzacks or X ice.
What's your goal? To become a professional driver (regardless of it being profitable or not)? to find a new fun way to burn money? To live out a dream of driving a car you maybe can't afford on track? I did the drive an exotic before i had a car that was worth taking on track. It was a blast. I have more fun doing hpde now where I get significantly more track time (and get stuck with the cost of tires and rotors and brake pads and fixing things that break and trying to chase gremlins) . While the idea of racing is appealing the cost of racing is not but if that was a goal progressing towards a license and avoiding picking up any bad habits is your best bet.
Hankook winter icept rs3, fantastična a ne preskupa. Bolja je od tih cjelogodišnjih za snijega puno
I run Hancook snow tires on my truck that are studded and they make a difference.
Rotating tires, system checks, and topping off the windshield fluid.
One set of tires is my only out of pocket maintenance expense.
Mine came with the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 rubber. Only had them for little over 100 miles before switching out to Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3. No opinion on the Hankooks due to limited mileage, other than they seemed OK.
Hankooks- don’t mind them.
I have an Elantra N, but I daily drove RS4 on my M240i for a bit. Don't recommend unless you get no rain where you live. These tires take a lot of time to get up to temp and you'll definitely heat cycle them before the tread is even half done.
Hankook VP4 i had on my IX35 but the rears were deformed after 40-50.000kms, kinda my fault for not rotating the wheels, but i didnt rotate the turanza 5 that i had before them and they held up for 60.000 kms without deforming.
