Tires Hankook or Nexen

Hankook Tires

I have All-season Hankook Ion EVOs on my 2025 MYP (original tires) and live in Minnesota where it snows quite a bit in the winter. It is my second winter with them and they handle snow beautifully. I’m at 22 K miles on them and still have plenty of thread left

Pros: handle snow beautifully
Mileage: 22000 km

Hankook Tires

I have Hankooks on one car and Goodyears on the other. If you don't drive in the snow, get the Hankooks. If you do, the Hankooks are downright terrible.

Pros: good for no snow
Cons: terrible in snow

Nexen Tires

Apart from FB Marketplace, Nexens are quite good. I have a set of Nexen Winguard Sport 2s on my WRX and so far so good.

Pros: quite good
Vehicle: Subaru

I am driving Mercedes S Class with Hankook Winter Icept Evo 3 that are now in third season with total around 30.000 Km driven.

As soon as I pass 90 Km/h seat starts to shake and I have tapping sound somewhere beneath the car. It least until 130 Km/h and then it is normal on higher speeds again.

Cons: uneven tire wear
Vehicle: Mercedes
Mileage: 30000 km

I have no experience with this specific tire but I do know that a lot of Nexen tires I've seen previously wear rather fast.

Cons: wear rather fast
