For proper DH right now the most loved combo is Maxxis Assegai front / Minion DHR II rear, both in DH casing + MaxxGrip.
DHR II in the back, Assegai in the front is pretty good.
Hankook feels very soft, but good, I prefer the SF3 for the feel and equally good is the Conti.
I used to buy CEAT, MRF and APOLLO before. For my Himalayan Apollo was the worst in terms of wet grip. Am trying Maxxiss RN and it's the best in Budget
I changed to the new Hankook Ion HT and have noticed no impact on range. They are also much quieter and I don\u2019t feel every last grain of sand on the road.
Rekon is fantastic front tire for light trail/technical XC
I'm rocking the Hankook Ion I-Cept SUV since two winter (25-26), because I needed the bigger batterie for the winter driving when I bought it since I was traveling 90km to go to work and using the car for work usage into the city.\n\nI live in a small village in Quebec, Canada, and the performance on the tires have been okay at best\n\nThey're not noisy and they are great on pavement and light snow, but aren't doing well in heavy snow and they suck on ice.
Am Hankook Kinergy 4S2 AllSeasons pe o masina si Continental WinterContact pe alta. Incomparabile din orice punct de vedere. Cele all seasons sunt practic mediocre in orice anotimp, necesitand un stil de condus mai defensiv. La franare te duci taras metri fata de cele de iarna.
They're shit tires in many ways and not worthy of WRC, but then again, everyone has to drive with the same shit tire.
Just the amount of punctures we have already had in the first nine stages, not to mention the massive amount of punctures last year, is not a good look on Hankook.
There was a stopping test years ago of a Hankook snow tire with and without studs- the non-studded actually stopped shorter on ice than the studded. Same winter tire. Moving forward isn't worth a damn if you can't stop and total yours and someone else's car.
