Tires Hankook or Continental

I have the Hankook ION EVO on my M3 and they are a great smooth efficient tire, they now have 6k miles on them and no signs of wear yet.

For those in the market for new tires I just put a set of the Hankook ion evo tires on the X and they are INCREDIBLE. Before throwing these tires on I was definitely of the "there's no way these foam tires are going to make a differnce" school of thought. I'm a believer.

Hankook Winter i*cept RS for 128€/tyre is reasonable and work well in snow.

I’m quite impressed by how these tires perform on wet roads even with how aggressive they are compared to other similarly aggressive all terrains like the BFGoodrich KO2 that I used to have. They also have a pretty good 70K mile warranty which is pretty great!

My bro who works at dealer said Continentals are good for daily road driving and much less than Michelin.

I really like Hankook tires. I've had no problem with traction and acceleration with my MYP with the Hankook ION Evos.

I have the wstx on right now. Comparable to my old Continental Wintercontact SI at like half the price. The only thing is it's louder and a bit harsher on the road. Great snow performance though.

I currently have the Continental Sport Contact 5 SSR tires. They were what CarMax put on when I bought it. I don’t care for the run flat technology as my insurance covers towing as well as I have a plug kit and portable compressor in my car if it’s not bad enough for those to handle it. I was looking at the Kumho LX Platinum KU27 but really don’t know much about the specifics of tires. Looking for advice on my current choice and/or recommendation. Thanks!

Noisy is the least of your worries. These things are straight up plastic tires in the rain, seriously keep your distance and granny it in the rain.
