Tires Goodyear or Laufenn

Goodyear Tires

Goodyear WeatherReadys are pretty good for all year. If you live on the western side of the state you might want some dedicated snow tires.

Pros: pretty good for all year

I’m getting the Goodyear Eagle F1’s that came on my Model Y replaced tomorrow. They have 68,500 miles on them. I’d say they held up pretty well.

Pros: held up well
Mileage: 68500 km

I love mine in the great lakes region and cannot wait to get at least 50k miles since my Goodyear's and Pirellis were bald before 40k.

Pros: love mine, great lakes
Mileage: 80000 km

I haven’t driven on the Rivian Goodyears, but my experience has been that all terrain style tires like that struggle on hard packed snow and ice (they just aren’t soft enough in the cold).

Cons: struggle on snow and ice

Goodyear Tires

Goodyear tires are notorious for doing this. Several factors play a role on why this happens. Overweight from running low air pressure, vehicle sitting for a period of time in the sun.

Cons: notorious for cracking
