I got 4 new Goodyear assurance on my civic for about 450 on some sale, through goodyear's website. The techs fucked up my tpms, but the tires are noticeably better than the old ones.
Got winters and they make a huge difference.
knew I should have replaced them before we left - New Goodyear Endurance all the way around
If it's warm I'd recommend considering the Goodyear SuperCar 3. It is faster than the RS4 or RT615k+, better wearing than the RE71/Rival/Yok.
I have been using Barum tires with no complaints. They perform well on my 2012 W204 and cost a lot less than Michelin / Pirelli / Continental /etc
You can still buy "PNEUMANT" Tires in Germany and Austria.
Went with Goodyear WinterCommands in 215/65/17 on VW steel rims. Worked them into the deal when we purchased the Tig. Definitely didnt want to run 19s in the winter.
Been running these on my JKU for three years now. They tend to get much louder as they age. They're great in snow, but not very good on ice or even wet roads.
I am not exactly sure what comes on these but the Good Year Wrangler AT with Kevlar that came on my Tacoma Off Road were the worst tires I have ever owned in 30 or so years. At 20k miles they were done. Every one had a patch. Every one had slow leaks and the wear was crazy at 20k 2 years.
From my personal experience from owning Goodyear’s that they are only good for one good year and horrible in the rain trying to take off from a dead stop.
