Tires GISLAVED or OEM FORD

OEM FORD Tires

I've had my '22 FWD XLT since last June. I regularly get 36+ in summer, but only 30 in (MN) winter with snow tires.

Pros: good mileage in summer
Cons: lower mileage in winter
Vehicle: Ford

OEM FORD Tires

I’ve lived in northern Colorado my whole driving life and I think the mav handles great. I still have the stock tires on and while I do drive very carefully when it’s snowy I have had almost no slipping/sliding

Pros: handles great, no slipping

GISLAVED Tires

Gislaved tires. They are studded from the factory and made by Continental. They are at least 30% less cost than Nokians and nearly as good. I have had both and will buy the Gislaveds every time.

Pros: less cost, nearly as good

GISLAVED Tires

I use gislaved winter tires on my A4 and they have worked well for high speed highway driving and also wet winter roads. Full confidence in snowy conditions. I am going with the same on the OB.

Pros: confidence in snowy conditions
Vehicle: Audi A4

Commute was great. These tires are amazing. They're called "Gislaved Nordfrost 200's" if you're wondering, I believe they run for around $1,400cdn for the 18" size I have, but would be cheaper for smaller sizes.

Pros: amazing tires, great commute

OEM FORD Tires

I liked the handling but the OEM tires were trash (as they often are). Luckily I ran over some road debris that caused to get a new set of tires anyway. Once that was sorted out it is pretty entertaining.

Pros: pretty entertaining, good handling
Cons: OEM tires were trash
Vehicle: Ford Focus
Mileage: 20921 km
