Tires Firestone or KENDA
I\u2019ve got Firestone weathergrip from the previous owner of my Outback wilderness and they have been great in the snow for our commute in Lake Ontario snow belt.
I have Firestone weather grips and I like them a lot and they were half the cost of cross climate 2s
I have ran Firestone Winterforce and Firestone Winterforce 2 on my RWD R/T Chargers since 2009 and have zero complaints.
Maybe I am missing something. The Kenda tire sidewall says 30 - 50 PSI. Normally I would inflate to 45 PSI or so for road use. When I put an inflator on the tires they become quite firm at 15 - 17 PSI and ride well without excessive drag. It also feels right from the thumb on the tread test.
I went with Firestone destination at/2 in 235/65 r17. They are great and light weight! Only 4lbs more than stock tires.
I have a set of Firestone Destination All terrains tires and i love them.
I used to commute from Ithaca to Syracuse daily in a mk5 GLI. I had studded Firestone Winterforces on steel wheels. That car was an absolute beast in the snow and regularly outperformed 4x4’s.
Geriausiai gripina ir kainos performanso santykis Kenda minkstos ziemines padangos. Minusai mažas top speed jų, gal 150, tai jau kokį balandį gali erzint ir kadangi labai minkštos gali būti ne tokios stabilios užmiestyje (ne miesto greičiais važiuojant).
I’ve had both the firestones and pilot sports on my corvette. The wet weather grip on the PS is much better. I would fishtail pretty regularly with the firestones. Would not recommend if you plan to drive in the rain.
I’ve had both tires on my Charger. The firestones are very noisy.
