I have them on my Alltrack - 225/40/18 and absolutely love them. Better handling and quieter than the stock 17in Kumho tires
Yah, awesome tire so far. They feel very similar to a PSS to me.
I have them on my alltrack. 235/35/19....they are truly an amazing tire for the money. Couldn't be happier with them.
I've been recommended Achilles ATR Sport 2 by literally all of my friends. I've had Pilot Super Sports before, and the Achilles handle extremely similar while intense driving. I'd say they last just as long as well.
My setup is Firehawk Indy 500s on stock Austin wheels. 225/40/18s. In terms of performance, the tires have been about as good as I could expect on the road. Turn-in feel is excellent, road noise is subdued, and the comfort is good. There is still some wheelspin off the line, but for the price the tires are excellent.
I put Firestones on all my cars, I've been running the "Destination" line of tires for several years on multiple cars. Never had any weird issues with them at all. Id definitely recommend Firestones to put on any daily driver.
I've had both. Get the Firestone and don't look back. Best tire I've used in the price range.
The Indy 500 is slightly better performing, while the RE760 is slightly more comfortable / refined. Which do you prefer? I had a set of the 500s and they were a really good value.
I have used that brand i linked before though, and they are ok. I wouldnt put them on a track car or go 150mph in them, but they are fine for your average daily.
My complaints weren’t about poor traction or low limits as a performance tire. They were about how truly poor a tire they were at simply being tires. Basically in every measure of a tire they performed poorly.
