Tires FEDERAL or FULDA

I have 215/40R17 fulda sport control 2 on my 320i coupe on replica alpina wheels, i dont know the sizes.. but combined with bilstein b12 coilovers and z3M steering rack its like a go kart

Just the loudest tires on planet earth. Boy do they grip through!

I just went from Federal 595 RS-RR (very loud but performed well on street and autocross) to their 595 RS-Pro (waaaaay quiter, I love these tires so far).

I also own a set of these, I can confirm. Fits my BMW very well as they used to make airplane engines, and these sound like a Messerschmidt prop plane.

Wear earplugs. They're great.

Federals will be really noisy after a few thousand miles. Almost like your wheel bearings don’t exist anymore. Had rs-rr and 615k+. 615k+ is better. Both are way off pace but great budget tires. 615k+ is actually a pretty good tire for hpde.

This does happen with the Fulda Kristall Montero 3. This tire has been around quite a while so this is likely happening because of age. It doesn't seem to have very much dry rot so they'll probably make it till the winter!

The next set of Federal 595 RS-Pro lasted 30k and looked like OP tires.

I got federals once because bills were coming all at once. Worst tires i ever had, so noisy, rough on the road and just didn’t feel great. Snow they were actually great surprisingly.

I’ve ran them for autox for fun when I had bmw Z4. They aren’t that good. Lol. Decent daily tires though.
