I'm running Cooper Discoverer True North, I'm happy with them
I have these tires and have 0 complaints. I would not say they are like any of my former k02s of course but I needed a budget LT tire that sees occasional FSR use
Great in rain. Not overly loud. Wearing well a year in
Had the Cooper at3s iirc on my ram and they were great in mud, snow etc, but lowered my mpg 1-2 compared to all seasons stock
I got exactly those tires from walmart last blk friday and they are good tires, feel safe in snow and rain, work well on the soft soft sand, and are only a little noisier than the stock hankooks my frontier came with. They cost me probably a mile per gallon in efficiency.
I have Motomaster Eliminators (3peak whatever made by Cooper) and they're great for city driving and the odd jaunt out of town. I drive an SUV with 4wd and put in maybe 15000km/year so they don't have much wear and I don't have to worry about swapping tires every year.
I replaced them with cooper road and trail AT tires. They are amazing in all conditions and whisper quiet.
They seem to grip decent once warmed up, but they are a bit on the loud side.
Federal tires to add sa mga choices
In size 225/40 (r18), their thread width is comparable to other makers ~205. Well, does it matter? Yes, in the sense that when you install them onto an 8.5 wide rim, you'll notice that you're stretching the fit, and the sweating starts. Installing a tire alone with a basic tire machine is no longer possible.
I just installed these on my sequoia less than a week ago and the balance feels off already . They have what feels like flat spots with pretty good shaking for the first 5-10 minutes after cold start driving . Once tires are warmed up it almost goes away .
