I love the wildpeak AT3s. Fantastic traction / durability
I’ve had both Terra’s and Wildpeaks. The wildpeakes outperform the Terra’s in every situation and they look a lot better as well.
I ran the Wildpeaks on a different vehicle & loved them! Looks great & traction through snow was superb!
I love my wildpeaks but they’re fucking HEAVY. If you don’t mind a fairly noticeable loss of power and -2/3 MPG’s then the wildpeaks are the best option for performance and looks.
You can't beat Bilsteins, if that's the problem. In my experience tires make a difference. Falken Sincera A/S250 is an exceptional tire.
Put some Wildpeak AT3s on my ‘03 4Runner last Spring, putting them to the test this Winter in Michigan, and I absolutely love them.
Have had the Wildpeaks now for a full year. They are really great in snow and rough weather conditions. That said, my truck did drop over 3mpg after the switch from the stock Kevlar Goodyears.
I barely have to put my truck into 4wheel in snow now that I switched to Wildpeaks. The amount of grip compared to the stock tires is insane. Also pretty quiet and my mpg’s only dropped for city driving, same mpg’s for highway.
I bought some Falken Ziex ZE-912s for my Magny Cours because I was hoping to sell my car and I needed something inexpensive. Turns out, they're a pretty good tire. The sidewall is too soft on them for something that claims high performance, but they do grip really well. The suck in the snow however, so I wouldn't depend on them for that (despite their all-season claim).
I have the Falkens and with 35K on the car they are done...I would add that half of that mileage was with the winter tires on the car.
