Tires Falken or Nokia

I think it is a great idea for the right situation. I take my 15' aluminum boat out 3-4 times a year and the lake is just 1 mile away, but there are always cops around the lake and they will pounce on you if your lights are not working, so it is a perfect solution for me.

I bought myself a set of Nokian Hakkapellita R's and it makes a world of difference on snow and ice.

I use Falken myself.

Front: 17x9.5 et21 215/45/17 Falken 512 Rear: 17x9.5 et19 215/45/17 Falken 512

Wheel: Long Beaches Front: 17 x 7 et 18 215/45 falken 912 Rear: 17 x 7 et18 215/45 falken 912

18x8.5 et 15 with 215/40 falken 512 18x10 et 30 with 235/40 falken 512

Front: 18x8.5 et20 215/40/18 Falken 512 Rear: 18x9.5 et35 225/40/18 Falken 512

I had 225-40-18 912's on 18x8 and I loved the gentle curve I had, But I didnt keep those wheels for long so I cant talk about tire wear but they gripped reallly well.

This is what a 225/40/18 on a 18x10 falken 912 looks like (my car) The 512's kind of sink in more at the sidewall area as opposed to the 912's just kind of gently curving up. I would personally ruin 452's over 912's any day... I've run all three..

I'd avoid falkens One car I bought had them installed 5k before I bought the car. I had the receipt of everything and they were already below 50% worn. (they were 512's) I then bought another car with Falken 912's that were put on 15k a go and they only have about 3-5k tread left.
