Falkon Wildpeaks (I love this tire)
I’ve never ever been let down by a set of falken wildpeak at3ws. All season tire so you don’t have to have a dedicated set. Very smooth on the highway for an at tire, available in 10 ply for towing or extreme use, little extra meat on them for when you do go off-road and do fantastic in the snow.
the Defender 110 the two highway quiet A/Ts people seem to love are the Michelin Defender LTX M/S and Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. the Falkens look a bit more aggressive but are still way less noisy than KO2s.
Also lift kit, 14” rims and nankang AT tires so I can get to more remote job sites.
i just put on 275/55 R20 Wildpeaks. They are awesome. Look great, and can deal with loading up and long trips, and my wife's curb sliding.
I went with 265/60R20 in falken wildpeak at4w and I've absolutely loved it
Plus I went thru the falken tires in 10k miles. Didn’t like that they wouldn’t back up the products they installed. Good suv when running right. But didn’t trust it.
Those Falkens are dearly loved by this community. I had a set and just didn’t like them. They were noisy. They had a tendency to flat spot if the truck sat for a day or two, that would take several miles to warm up and sort itself out. They were really awesome in the snow and what little off roading I did.
I had the AT3 and wanted to get the AT4 but I am seeing a lot of negative reviews on this tire. Everything from the weight to lack of control in wet conditions has made me look for other options. My only issue with the AT3 is it lasted me maybe 30k miles
KO3’s suck these days. Go with the Falken Wildpeak AT4’s or the Toyo Open Country AT3 is better in the snow from what I’ve experienced.
