Tires Falken or GOODRIDGE

Falken Tires

Best tire I've ever ran is the Falken f-ice studded. I've now bought my 4th or 5th set. Low speed they're all pretty similar but the f ice handles highway speed surface changes with less drama than anything I've ever ran.

Pros: handles highway speed changes

Falken Wildpeak AT4 in load range SL have been fantastic. I had older Duratraks on it before, and hated them.

Pros: fantastic
Cons: hated Duratraks

Sailun Terramax AT2, or Falken Rubitrek AT01, only tires i will run on mine. The falkens are amazing on fuel economy and noise, Sailuns are cheaper and only slightly nosier, still good fuel economy.

Pros: amazing fuel economy, low noise
Cons: Sailuns slightly nosier

Falken Tires

My wife has the Wildpeak A/T on her Crosstrek, 225 tread width. Absolutely bonkers incredible tires, but the next set will be 215. In the snow, the narrower width cuts down noticeably better in deeper snow.

Pros: incredible tires, cuts down better
Vehicle: Subaru

I just got the Falken Rubitrek and have to say I'm quite impressed with their wet weather and snow/ice handling. My truck feels glued to the road.

Pros: impressed, good wet weather handling, good snow/ice handling

I took a set of 7/32 tread depth firestone ft140\u2019s off my little daily driver Toyota Corolla and went with a set of Falken Aklimates. They run quieter, cost less, and last longer than the cross climates (which I also sell) and are my most recommended tire for cars and small SUV\u2019s.

Pros: run quieter, cost less

I used to run Mickey Thompson mud tires on my Jeep. The last set had something like 60% tread life remaining when they were so cupped out and obnoxious I couldn't stand it anymore. I yanked them off, and decided to give a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3s a try. The Falkens were significantly less expensive, better mannered, and 40-50,000 miles later, they're barely even worn. On the same vehicle. Without any mods or maintenance to the suspension, which obviously wasn't the reason the Mickeys cupped out. These are excellent tires, and I would buy Falkens again, no question. On the other side of the line, I got a set of Sumitomos for my truck, and when I wore those out, I dug deep and ponied up for a set of Michelins the next time. The Sumitomos just didn't do it for me.

Pros: less expensive, better mannered, barely worn
Vehicle: Jeep
Mileage: 64373 km

I had AT tires on my Cherokee, they were fine in the winter, though not as good as true winters. But I never ran into any problems with 4x4.

Falken WildPeak AT3W Tires

Pros: fine in winter, no 4x4 problems
Cons: not as good as true winters

Cons: poor winter performance, low quality
