Tires Falken or GENERAL TIRE

Falken Tires

If you’re really worried about it, Falken Wildpeaks are the GOAT for All Terrain tires with very very good performance in wet and snow

Pros: very good performance

currently running 265/70/18 Falken Wildpeak AT3’s, will most likely be upgrading to 275/70/18 Toyo RT Trail tires, unless I can confirm that 285/70/18’s will fit with no rub.

I went with falken FK460 silent core (which is with ev foam). I like them so far and was about 1100 out the door (installed, balanced and tax and all).

Pros: positive initial impression

I bought my miata with some pretty thrashed Falken Azeni RT615Ks on them and they grip pretty good, and even with the tread worn down to the wear bars they're not completely terrifying in the wet.

Pros: grip pretty good
Cons: terrifying in the wet

As someone who has a 04 2wd I can tell you best thing is a good set of tires. I run Falken Wildpeak AT4W's 265 65 17 we have decent snows in the winter I just lower the air pressure and go on my merry way.

Pros: decent snows in winter

Falken Tires

For my current car, I got the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail tires. They have the 3 mountain peak emblem so they're rated for snow. Have had them for close to 2 weeks and so far, so good.

Pros: rated for snow, good performance

Falken Tires

I’ve enjoyed mine as well, and I’m about due for a new set.

But, just tossing this out there, I found they aren’t as grabby in soft sand or wet snow as I would have liked (conditions I find myself in).

They’re hyped up, and I liked mine, but don’t plan on getting them again.

Pros: enjoyed them
Cons: not grabby in soft sand, not grabby in wet snow, won't buy again
Vehicle: Toyota

Falken Tires

Falkens don't last more than 30k miles. The rubber starts to break down after 16mo. Tread is fine, but they start to crack at the shoulder. Even if you rotate them like a good human, even if you park in a heated garage, even if you wash your car every week or two. Big box tire shop and the manufacturer won't so anything for you either. Happened to me and will NEVER buy them again.

Pros: hazard replacement warranty
Cons: rubber breaks down
Vehicle: Subaru
Mileage: 30000 km
