Tires Falken or Barum

Falken Tires

I'm running them too (for about 2k miles so far) in a 255/50R20 and I like them. They feel very surefooted in the big rainstorms we get down here in Florida.

Pros: feel very surefooted
Mileage: 3218 km

I personally like Falken Wildpeak AT3s. Haven't got them on my XJ yet but they've done great for on and off-road driving. I've had them on a JK, Ranger, Sierra 1500, and my work van.

Pros: great on/off-road driving

Amazing dry grip from the first run. They do like to be warm, the second or third run has the most grip and then they fall off unless you spray. I'm in love with this tire, when it's on the car we are consistently within the top times of the day, if not fastest overall.

Pros: amazing dry grip
Cons: wet grip could be better
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 1000 km

As others have said - RT660. Federals and RT615 both not good autocross tires. RT615 more of an endurance compound, Federals just generally a budget tire. RT660 is the real deal and can actually be competitive.

Pros: competitive, real deal
Cons: not good autocross tires

meh.. the falkens can really get you in trouble in rain if you're not carefull. yes they provide alot of grip in the rain, but they'll breakaway (lose grip) with little to no warning unlike the goodyear eagle F1's which were pretty gradual.

Pros: alot of grip in rain
Cons: breakaway with no warning

I hated the falkens I had on my GLI when I sold it, they did everything in a mediocre fashion but cost considerably less than the Goodyear f1 gsd3's and BFG KDW2's I had prior.

Cons: mediocre fashion
Vehicle: Volkswagen
