Tires Continental or Nokia

Nokia Tires

If you’re looking for a budget friendly option Nokian sells an all weather time you can drive year round the WRG4 which from my experience is better than the budget winter tires in terms of grip. Had them on my car for almost 5 years now and they’re still great

Pros: better grip, great experience

Continental ECF. They're 200's but more endurance focused. Not a fast tire but can stay consistent through a whole HPDE session. Really good performance in the rain, somehow they move a bunch of water. Long lasting as well... many heat cycles.

Pros: consistent, good rain performance
Cons: not a fast tire

I just put the studded Hakka 10 on my wife’s new Durango and will never go back. I have the R5 on my car and it’s no comparison to the studded 10s.

Pros: never go back
Cons: no comparison
Vehicle: Dodge Durango

Too bad you don't have 16s, then you could buy the Continental DWSs(205/50/16s on mine) for the ultimate upgrade in rainy day tire. I spent 45 minutes on Saturday chucking my car actively trying to get it to slip and slide in the rain on mountain road bends and it just wouldn't let go.

Pros: ultimate upgrade, great grip
Vehicle: Honda Fit

I replaced the Dunlops with a set of Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02s with a bit higher treadwear rating, so hopefully they last much longer with the alignment being fixed.

Pros: higher treadwear rating
Vehicle: Subaru

Nokian Hakkapeliitta's are the best of the best. You can get both studded and non-studded. You likely don't need the studs, but they certainly help on early morning descents down i70 into Silverthorne.

Pros: best of the best

the DWS06+ are only good in the snow for the first half of their life, after that the snow performance falls of a cliff.

Pros: good in snow initially
Cons: snow performance degrades

Every time this is question is posted, I have the same answer: Gatorskins suck, by the Conti 4 seasons. Yes gator skins are tough, but they also feel like they're made of soap when cornering in the wet. 4 Seasons are *so* much more supple.

Pros: more supple, higher tpi
Cons: feel like soap
