Tires Continental or Kormoran

Continental Tires

I have had good success with Continental Race Kings. They are not specifically hardened/flat proof, but the knobs keep the tire away from thorns and glas shards.

Pros: good success

Dws06 here. The rain grip is wow. The snow grip is snow tire like for me in Western NY where I need it. Dry grip is fine. Best all season tires I think I've ever had.

Pros: great rain grip, good snow grip
Cons: dry grip is fine

I got extreme contact dws06 on mine. I love them. Great grip in wet and dry conditions for 30% less than the Michelins. Super quiet too

Pros: great grip, super quiet

I don’t have an S5. I have an A7. I had the Pirelli’s just put the Continental DWS06 Plus on and in my opinion, they ride way better.

Pros: ride way better
Vehicle: Audi A7

The DWS06s are great all-season tires but are a bit softer of rubber, if you live in the south where its routinely over 100 degrees (even hotter on the pavement) i'd pick something else as a summer tire. I ran them on my 2014 Mustang GT year round and had no issues getting anywhere in the snow.

P.S DWS stands for Dry Wet and Snow and can be determined based off which of those letters are still on how deep the tread is

Pros: great all-season tires, no issues in snow
Cons: softer rubber, not ideal for hot southern summers

I’m using the Continental 5000 TR S 32mm running tubeless.

Everytime I ride I get a puncture! It’s crazy and not sure why. I used one of the tire calculators and it has me at 68psi front, 70 rear.

Rode with a buddy couple weeks back who has the same tires and he got a puncture so bad on the rear it wouldn’t seal, we had to put a plug it.

I might try lowering the pressure and see what happens. Tires are new…

Cons: frequent punctures, difficult sealing
