Tires Achilles or FULDA

Achilles Tires

Best budget tire brand I’ve used is Achilles

Not a lot of ratings online but I live on the coast in NC where snow is pretty much a non issue. They handle good in wet weather, typical notes are they don’t do well in snow but aside from Michelin many all season’s don’t

The Achilles Touring Sport A/S 225/65R17 or their dessert hawks should be fine

I’ve used achilles on several cars for the last 10 years or so and they are a great bang for the buck. I tried them out a set of their ATR sport tires on my veloster N because I was going through Michelin pilot super sports like nothing and never looked back.

Pros: great bang for buck
Cons: not good in snow

Currently on Achilles... ok naman siya. Sustained 100-140 kph sa express way going to Batangas. Nalubak ba pa nga sa Nasugbu hiway, no damage to rims or tires. Medyo maingay nga lang.

Pros: no damage to rims
Cons: medyo maingay nga lang

FULDA Tires

This does happen with the Fulda Kristall Montero 3. This tire has been around quite a while so this is likely happening because of age. It doesn't seem to have very much dry rot so they'll probably make it till the winter!

Pros: probably make it
Cons: happening because of age

I ran Achilles tires on my old VW and so did my buddy, this was 10ish years ago but they were terrible back then.

Achilles Tires

They suck lol. They are loud, they hyrdoplane like a motherfucker, grooved pavement like overpasses makes them do this weird shimmy thing, and they wear quick. They cause the ABS to kick on super early, and lose traction fast.

Cons: loud, wear quick
