I bought the absolute cheapest plugs available ($1.50/plug), and they are branded "Denso Toyota Iridium" - I assume fakes, but my magnifying glass does seem to show an iridium tip, and they work great.
I did Denso 3297 from RockAuto. They work great.
I've always used the Denso SK20R11 plugs in mine and been pleased.
Denso iridium plugs, no more no less and no exceptions.
denso iridium. do them and they’ll be good for another 200k km or more
Oem Motorcraft plugs are always my go-to. They generally last around 80k miles.
Denso and Bosch have worked well for us on a 1.6.
Has anyone tried the Motorcraft SP594 plugs? They supercede from the SP542, which is said to be a 1 step colder plug for our cars. Currently running NGK 6510s but i think i got a "fake" set as i paid like $30 from Amazon for them. The SP594s I can get for $41 from Ford... so anyone have good results?
I got some phony Denso marked spark plugs
Porcelain tip fell off one Denso spark plug in cylinder 1. Doing less the 200km distance. Motor is f@$ked.
