Rancho shocks are for off-road style ride. Will absorb heavy impacts and be stiff on the pavement.

Pros: absorb heavy impacts
Cons: stiff on the pavement

Pair those with the Eibach Pro-Kit and it'll ride like a dream, seriously  I was swapping different coilovers on my Tiguan trying to find the best setup, and just went that route (Eibach/Konis) a couple days ago....best decision ever.

Pros: ride like a dream

Hard for me to say, it's been a while since I had stock suspension in the car. The Koni's replaced some very old Boge Turbo Gas struts/shocks and Neuspeed springs, and there's a marked improvement from that setup. I currently have the Koni's set to medium firmness and not terribly low ride height, and so far I'm very pleased - but I'll probably futz with them a bit more as I drive it and things break in.

Pros: marked improvement from setup
Vehicle: Volkswagen Corrado

I can recommend the FSDs, I replaced the stock (performance package) shocks on my 330i with FSDs, and it has the same feel while hard cornering, but soaks up low speed bumps much better. Not much different on high speed bumps, you really notice on the low speed stuff, like a small pothole or something.

Pros: soaks up low speed bumps
Cons: not much different high speed
Vehicle: BMW

I have Koni Red's on my Jetta, on the stock setting they come in they feel just a bit stiffer then the stock sport suspension that came on the car. I like them. After several years they are rusting a bit though.

Pros: bit stiffer then stock
Cons: rusting a bit
