Koni yellows and your choice of spring. I run h&r sports and it’s still very daily friendly and comfortable, but is sporty enough to throw into corners with no hesitation.
KONI red front shocks, brand new never used, looking for $175 for the pair plus shipping if needed.
I strongly recommend you also consider changing the shocks/struts out for Koni Special Actives. They are better than OE in every single way - performance and comfort.
I do have the Koni STR.Ts in my Honda and they were a fantastic upgrade over stock.
Koni yellow is the absolute best oem replacement shocks
I was the 1st person install Koni SA shocks on a NA Miata. They have adaptive valving. Made my 96 handle live a Maserati. Awesome shock for The Miata. Sticks like a Geco!!!! Rides like a dream
I’m currently running koni yellows. I don’t have experience with any others but these have treated me well with a 2” lowering spring on my daily. I would suggest them for a mid/entry level shock with some level of adjustability
I had Koni yellows and loved them. Lifetime warranty too.
I've been on oranges for years with Eibachs, and they lack somewhat in rebound damping but are otherwise fine.
When I broke down the struts, I was surprised to see they were completely blown. Konis usually fare much better. But, I’m using Bilsteins as replacements so all will be well soon enough.
